Most companies are still operating online and offering a Virtual Holiday Party is a very new concept to many.
And this is when YOU come into the picture!
For in-person parties, all they needed to do is to choose a good venue, music, food, drinks, and without much orchestration, the camaraderie and personal connections came together at the party. But figuring out how to keep the holiday spirit going virtually party, having people engaged and entertained has become challenging even for seasoned event organizers.
You have what they lack: virtual entertainment, communal focus, great experience, and an art piece at the end.
What can you do?
Contact your local companies and offer your Art activity. Depending on your medium, it can be: Paint and Sip Party, Creating Holiday Decorations (ornaments, wreaths, doors signs), or Gifts for family and friends.
What steps can you take?
E-mail your pitch to Companies on your list, tell them you can make their Party fun and interactive with a turnkey solution: entertain (teach) with material provided. Give them the 3-5 options you came up with. Do not send the price. You are selling on the value: entertainment, team building, and reinforcing the community. Send a sample invitation with a nice graphic that they could forward to their employees. The idea here is to make the life of the Company Owner or person in charge easier.
Get a testimonial from your Students from similar activities and add to the pitch e-mail.
Once you sent the pitch e-mail to the decision-maker, call them in a couple of days. Reinforce the benefits (turnkey solution, entertainment, and community building) and ask for additional suggestions. Then talk about the price in a range, from $[x] to $[z].
Ideas you can suggest:
Send the materials directly to the company for distribution or everyone separately (price accordingly).
Ask the participants not to open the box until the party starts to make it interactive.
Where to advertise:
Add the offer to your Social Media and e-mail list with a link to the pitch letter they can forward
Ask your Parents to spread the word at their own Companies
